Sinful Colors “Star Fish”

Today I’m reviewing Sinful Colors Star Fish.

I actually tried this polish out several weeks ago and was extremely impressed with it. I used it with Essie “First Base” base coat and Essie “Good to Go” top coat. It lasted 6 days without any signs of wear or chips!   It’s a gorgeous medium, creamy shade of pink.  All Sinful Color polishes are a generous 15ml.

I hope the rest of the Sinful Colors range is as long wearing and easy to apply as Star Fish… this space for more reviews of them in the future 😉

I usually add a glittery top coat to my polish, especially if it’s lasting longer than I expected and I’m beginning to get bored.  So I thought I’d show you Star Fish with a few different top coats.

This is Twinkle from E.L.F.  Radiant by Revlon and Black Polka Dot from Nubar.

Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Base and Top Coat

Nubar Black Polka Dots & Nails Inc Bluebell

Hi and welcome to my first blog post 🙂

I’m new to wordpress but hopefully it won’t take me too long to get the hang of it.

My first review is for Nails Inc “Bluebell” which was free with the June 2012 issue of In Style magazine.  I’ve never had much luck with Nails Inc but loved the colour so simply had to get it!  Then a friend suggested that my problems with Nails Inc might be caused by using the wrong base/top coat.  Desperate to try my new polish (not to mention all the others in the Nails Inc range lol), I went out and purchased their Kensington Caviar base & top coat which comes in a duo available at Boots for £12.

I painted my nails and hoped for the best!

Five days on I couldn’t believe that the polish was showing very little signs of wear and had not chipped at all!  I decided to carry on wearing the colour just to see how long it lasts but added a couple of coats of Nubar Black Polka Dots just to jazz it up a bit.

I’m curious to find out how long this manicure will last but urge you to try this amazing base/top coat from Nails Inc if, like me, you’ve never been able to use their colours before.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my first post, please feel free to leave a comment.
