Today I’ve used the new Nails Inc magnetic effect polish “Soho”, this is a light, silvery, grey polish which comes with a fishnet patterned magnet. I’ve also used Nails Inc Kensington Caviar base and top coat.
When using magnetic polish, you apply your base coat and one coat of the colour as usual. You then apply the second coat of colour one finger at a time and immediately hold the magnet (in the lid of the polish) very closely to your nail. After a few seconds you will see the polish change as the magnet draws the metallic particles in the polish out to the surface. If you make a mistake, just apply another coat and try again.
This was my first attempt with a Nails Inc magnetic nail polish and I was pleasantly surprised with the formula. I have only tried Barry M magnetic polishes in the past and quite frankly they are terrible! The Nails Inc polish has a much easier to apply texture and the magnet is a lot stronger. Admittedly there is a big price difference between these polishes but you definitely get what you pay for in this instance.
